HARUN HAZAR
The man
who knows.
Harun Hazar is a director and creative director from Berlin,
based in Hamburg, Germany.
His work as a director is diverse and multidisciplinary.
On one hand he loves setting the scene for real-life heroes and putting people's passions into the spotlight. On the other hand he has a special affinity for automotive, whether on location or in the virtual studio (Hyperbowl).
Harun works as concept developer and head of moving images for major agencies. He was responsible for the audiovisual communication in several successful mega pitches, such as the VW and EON campaign won by DDB.
In 2007 he graduated with honors from the Academy of Media Arts in Cologne, majoring in directing. He now lives with his family in Hamburg.
Last but not least, Harun has been teaching film design for the bachelor's program "Digitial Film Production“ at the SAE Institute for more than ten years. It gives him great pleasure to satisfy the thirst for knowledge shown by the next generation of filmmakers.
